Frequently Asked Questions

Here is where we will answer some basic questions that our patients and new patients may have. We will continue to add more, so check back frequently.

Will my insurance cover Chiropractic care?

Under the new Affordable Care Act, Chiropractic Care is covered. Always check with your insurance carrier to find out the exact details and deductibles of your individual insurance policy.

What insurance does our office accept?

We take the following insurances:

  • Medicare
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Blue Care Network
Do you offer any other special payment options?

Yes, due to the trend of high deductibles, we also offer Affordable Care Plans. Contact us for specific details.

Is it more expensive to see a chiropractor than a physical therapist or medical doctor?

No. A study using 85,000 BCBS patients found that patients who initiated back pain care through a chiropractic doctor spent 20% to 40% LESS on healthcare costs than those who initiated care through a medical doctor.*

Why do I need to see a chiropractor multiple times?

Those more mobile parts of your body that hold your spine, like your muscles and tendons, can take months or even years to heal and properly hold the spine in alignment. Based on your needs, your chiropractor will often prescribe a series of adjustments to ensure that you get in alignment and stay there.

Is Chiropractic care safe? For everyone?

Absolutely. Around 2 million children are safely treated by chiropractors every year in the U.S. Additionally, a well-known 2008 study found no increased association between strokes and Spinal Manipulation Therapy in adults over the age of 45 years.* In contrast, prescription medication and postoperative surgery account for billions of deaths every year, worldwide.
